This is an adult-oriented, quiet, exceptionally clean and well-managed park in a rural setting eight miles from Camp Verde which makes for a very pleasant environment. Most sites have a split rail fence and shrubs between them and plenty of trees on the grounds, but they do not interfere with vehicle maneuverability. There is plenty of room for very big rigs. The bathrooms and laundry room are spotless. Very good WI-FI, but no cable TV. Can receive several Phoenix stations with antenna. The only drawback is a very low tolerance by management and longer-term residents for barking dogs, even inside campers, so consider that before selecting this campground. If your dog barks while you are sightseeing, you will be advised by management and told to put a muzzle on it or take it with you. Dogs are not prohibited and there are several small dogs in the park, but we recommend this campground for people who have no dogs or whose dogs are infrequent barkers. Except for the dog situation, this park would rate 10.

This huge resort is very clean and well-maintained. It is gated with a security fence surrounding the entire park. Paved lanes are wide with plenty of space between easy-in/easy-out sites for the largest rigs. Each site is laid out so that the RV is parked on river rock (which does not track into the RV) and the steps come down over an 8 by 18-foot concrete patio with a wrought iron patio table and four chairs. We had to level slightly. Adjoining the patio is an asphalt pad for the toad or tow vehicle. Depending on where your waste drain is located, you may need more than 20 feet of sewer hose. The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful, but this place is big business and lacks the personality of a mom-and-pop campground. This park has a complimentary continental breakfast and nicely furnished and decorated rooms for get-togethers and games. There are two heated full-size swimming pools with Jacuzzis and a well-equipped exercise center. The two laundry rooms and bathrooms are large and clean. There are trees, but not large enough to provide shade, so your rig is in full sun all day. The downside is that there are only 23 cable TV channels, one hour of free Wi-Fi per day, and occasional noise from a busy street. There is a Camping World store accessible from the park without having to get on the city street. We recommend this campground.

Friendly, helpful staff. Easy in and easy out for big rigs. Wide driving lanes. Located on a hill, many sites have a beautiful view of mountains and the city below. At night, the city lights are beautiful. The gravel is raked throughout the campground with concrete pads for camper tires to rest on. Very good Wi-Fi. Very clean campground. Tile bathrooms are spotless and shower stalls are well designed for usefulness. Complimentary toiletries in the women’s bathroom. The night we were here: the 69 channels of cable TV were snowy, black and white. Clean and well-maintained playground with a nice variety of play equipment: one of the best playgrounds we have seen. There is a nice swimming pool. Trash dumpster is concealed behind a six-foot privacy fence. We saw no typical campground junk or maintenance equipment anywhere. There is much to like about this campground. The only negative is that sites are close together. Depending on where neighboring slideouts are situated, some slideouts may be within approximately six feet of each other. When the campground is not full, the staff will assign campers to every other site to permit more space between rigs.

This campground is in a rural desert setting a mile from town and offers a free shuttle to and from town, but we did not use it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Easy in and easy out, the sites are unpaved natural desert sand and gravel. Toads or tow vehicles must be parked perpendicular to the RVs. I used two tiers of Lynx levelers to level our rig. Good cable TV signal, but only 23 channels. We were able to connect to WIFI at our site close to the main building, but the speed was a little slow. When checking in, the owner advised that the connection may be undependable and some sites have trouble connecting. Sand burs are abundant and will stick in your dog’s paws and your shoes. There is considerable junk piled to the side of the office building. After four days of observation, we concluded that the aging bathrooms are not cleaned every day; in fact, we saw no evidence of their having been cleaned during our stay. By day two, the men’s room was nearly out of toilet tissue and, by day three, the toilet tissue was gone in all four of the men’s stalls and some of the women’s stalls, the liquid soap dispenser in the men’s room remained empty during our stay, a wad of human hair remained on the bottom of a women’s shower stall, some toilet bowls needed brushing to remove human waste residue, soapy scum covered all sides of the paper towel dispenser, and the counter of bathroom sinks had a layer of dust. It is fair to state that toilet tissue was replaced on day four. If the bathrooms are not an issue for you, this place is acceptable while visiting Tombstone, but not for more than a few days. Except for the bathrooms, this place would rate 7.

This park is acceptable, but it is mediocre. Routine maintenance and upkeep seem to be a low priority. The overall facility, inside buildings and outside, has a run-down appearance. The bathrooms are clean enough to use, but they are neglected. In the men’s room, the toilet tank cover is missing; one of two urinals has been removed exposing an ugly unpainted section of wall with the plumbing still there; and the walls, floor, and sink area need paint and new paneling. In the women’s room, there are holes in the wall paneling and paint has mostly worn off the concrete floor. The shower stalls have a chair and one hook. On the plus side, it appears that most pull-through sites are easy in and easy out for many rigs, but I am not sure about rigs over 38-40 feet. Tow vehicles must be parked diagonally to the RVs. Wifi is $2 per day or $5 per week. We will stay here again, but only because it is a convenient stop on our way to and from western and southwestern states.

We recommend this park. It is easy to get to from I-40, its driving lanes are wide and paved, and the sites are easy in and easy out for the biggest rigs. The bathrooms and park grounds are very clean and well-maintained. Even the well-placed trash receptacles are concealed by decorative wood. The owners are among the friendliest and most helpful you will encounter. They went out of their way to help us with an RV problem and it was solved in 30 minutes. Otherwise, it might have taken a day or two before we could get it fixed. Cable TV and Wi-Fi are excellent. The infrequent train and airplane noise mentioned in previous reviews was not a problem for us, even during sleeping hours. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a very clean, well-maintained park featuring wide driving lanes and fully-paved sites. There is plenty of space between sites and these spaces are filled with decorative river rock. Sites are easy in and easy out and most sites are long enough for big rigs, but tow vehicles must be parked perpendicular to the RVs. Sites occupied by long-term residents are tidy. No shade trees. The bathrooms are very clean, but there is no place inside the shower stalls to put your clothes or toiletries. There is a hook and one bench outside the stalls in the common area which offers no privacy. Some people hang their clothes over the shower curtain rod. There is a beautiful view of the Sandia Mountains from the park, but most people must step outside their rigs for the view. Walmart, Walgreen’s, Home Depot, Albertson’s grocery store, Santa Ana Star Casino, and historic Coronado State Monument (worth seeing) are five to ten minutes away. The entrance sign to this park is easy to miss. More noticeable are adjacent signs for the J & R Vintage Car Museum and the Stagecoach Plaza which are also accessed via the RV park’s entrance. We recommend this park.

This clean, well-maintained park is worthy of recommendation. The sites are mostly easy in and easy out and long enough for big rigs, but there are square corners to enter sites from driving lanes. Sites are a little close together. Driving lanes are wide. There is a new shower/laundry building with clean, private individual bathrooms containing toilet, sink, and shower. For travel during tornado season, there are two underground storm shelters. The park staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is a clean, well-maintained park with a friendly, helpful staff. We did not use bathrooms in the main building, but the bathrooms in the satellite building were very clean and freshly painted. Sites are easy in and easy out for big rigs, but a little close together. The number of cable TV channels is quite limited. This is better than most KOAs, and we recommend it.

This is the cleanest, best manicured campground you’re likely to find. For example, while we were there, an employee was moving from site to site to clean bird residue off the tops of the electrical connection pedestals. It is a well-designed park. There is green grass and plenty of space between the concrete pads which are long enough for the biggest rigs (coach and toad or trailer and tow vehicle) and wide enough for two vehicles side-by-side. Easy in and easy out for any size rig. The bathrooms are very clean. WIFI and cable TV are perfect. Nice store. Families will be disappointed by the lack of a playground and no pool. There are no trees. For us, this park would be a 10 except for location. It’s in the flight path for the St. Louis airport and there are elevated railroad and interstate highway bridges bordering the northern edge of this large RV park. Because of elevation, there is nothing to buffer their noise. On the other hand, with the windows closed, the noise is tolerable, in our opinion. These noise sources are reduced at night and the only thing we heard after 10:30 p.m. was one train at 4:20 a.m. The nightly rate reflects a Good Sam discount. We recommend this park and would definitely stay there again.

Clean, well-managed, well-maintained campground. Very clean bathrooms with spacious showers, but the only lighting is in the lavatory/toilet area, so the showers are not brightly lighted after dark, but it is adequate. WIFI and cable TV are good. Nice, large pool. No playground. Most pull-thrus and back-ins are easy in and easy out for big rigs. Campsite picnic tables sit on nice brick patios. Space between campsites is adequate. Very little and generally unnoticeable road noise and no train or airplane noise. A 30-minute drive to Biltmore Estates and other Asheville locations in general. In 2008, we stayed at a campground in Asheville and we much prefer Lakewood because of its pleasant rural atmosphere. Upon arrival at the campground‘s entrance, the driveway is a steep 7% downhill grade for about 150 feet--you must press hard on the brake pedal. When departing, you must stop on the uphill grade to watch for oncoming traffic. There is a convex mirror across the road to assist with visibility of oncoming traffic from around a slight curve. Fortunately, the road is not heavily traveled, so your slow acceleration onto it is not very risky. We recommend this park and would definitely stay there again.

With over 250 sites, this is one of the cleanest, best-managed, and best-maintained campgrounds we have visited. Even though we describe some negatives, we like this park and consider it a pleasant place to stay. Restrooms and large shower stalls are exceptionally clean, but toilet doors do not have latches (some swing open during occupancy) and showers have too few hooks. There are lots of trees, but they do not interfere with access to sites. Sites farther from park’s entrance have significantly less road noise. Some sections of the park have more space between sites than others. Because of slightly narrow lanes, some, but not all, sites may be tight for big rigs to enter and leave if sites across the street have toads or tow vehicles parked in inconvenient locations. There was free Wi-Fi with strong signal at our site, but no cable TV and, of six local stations, we could receive only NBC, ABC, and CBS. It is unlikely your GPS will recognize the campground’s address. For the town name, enter Johns Island, not Charleston. We found the best option is to enter into the GPS the intersection of Highway 17 and Main Road. If you are driving on northbound Highway 17, stay in the left lane (at this point, the highway is actually running east and west). The campground’s entrance is the first left turn after the stop light at the Highway 17 and Main Road intersection. You must cross two lanes of very heavy southbound traffic, so try to avoid arrival during rush hour (approximately 3:00 to 6:30 p.m.). If you are driving southbound on Highway 17, stay in the right lane. The campground’s entrance is on your right, and you have no other lanes to cross--the Highway 17 and Main Road intersection is a few hundred feet ahead, so if you pass it, you‘ve gone too far. The park’s entrance has a large white sign, but it is somewhat obscured by trees and easy to overlook, so it is possible to drive past the entrance. It may be worthwhile to call the office for directions and landmarks well ahead of arrival, because the phone is not always answered. As of April, 2009, ultra low sulfur diesel (diesel #2) was difficult to find in the vicinity of the campground. The closest location we found is about 5 miles at Sunoco at 1884 Sam Rittenberg Boulevard, Charleston, SC (on your GPS). We recommend this park and would definitely stay there again.

Clean, well-managed, well-maintained. Escort to site. Very clean bathrooms. Well-stocked store. Good choice of ice cream products (Dove, Haagen Daas, Klondike, Drumsticks, etc.). Flowers at entrance and office area. Pool. Playground with several items. Badminton court. Trampoline. Porch swings on perimeter of park. Good WIFI and cable TV. Adequate space between sites. Most sites are easy in and easy out for big rigs. Sites are long enough for big rig and toad or tow vehicle. Rural location and trees give this campground a state park atmosphere (but trees do not hinder access to sites). No highway, train, or airplane noise. Owners are friendly, helpful, and customer-oriented. As we were setting up, they came to our rescue with a bolt cutter when the key broke off in the padlock for the hitch bar in our fifth wheel hitch. We like this campground very much and recommend it.

Very clean, well laid-out park with easy in and easy out for the biggest rigs. Many sites are so long that two long RVs could fit into the space. Plenty of space between sites. Flat terrain with trees in some sections of the park and several large grassy areas which provide a feeling of openness. Cable TV and WIFI are good, but WIFI is sometimes a little slow. Water has a very unpleasant taste, so bring bottled. There is a laundry room, but no store, playground, pool, toilets, or showers. Some sites close to highway 170A hear quite a bit of daytime road noise, but very little during the night until about 5:00 a.m. On some, but not all days, sand gnats are pesky and swarm around your head, but they are common to the area. Park is within decent driving distance of many things to see and do (20 minutes to Savannah, 30 minutes to Hilton Head Island, 45 minutes to Beaufort, and 45 minutes to Tybee Island). The Chocolate Tree at Beaufort has the best quality, tastiest chocolate products we have ever encountered and they are reasonably priced. About nine miles from campground to a medium-sized grocery store in Hardeeville. Pay campground by cash or check only. We recommend this park and would definitely stay there again.

Friendly. Clean, well-managed, well-maintained. Very clean bathrooms. There are four large, private rooms, each with a toilet, shower, and sink. Nice, new clean laundry. New playground with swings, slide, and climbing bars. Adequately large grassy areas between gravel sites. Our site required no leveling. Easy in and easy out for big rigs and, although there are many trees, they do not hinder access to or from sites. WIFI is the slowest we have encountered anywhere and is temperamental. You likely will have to make multiple attempts before getting a connection. Cable TV is good, but selection of cable channels is more limited than at many parks. Close to I-27, but the only highway noise we noticed while inside the camper was a low rumble like distant thunder and it was not constant. Would rate 10 except for WIFI. We would definitely stay in this park again.

We recommend this park and do not have any of the complaints expressed in prior reviews. We spent five nights in the new section. The staff is friendly and helpful and the office is a beautiful new building at the park’s entrance. First, a description of the new section opened in 2008. Thirty acres of new sites with lots and lots of room between sites, all easy in and easy out and many for the biggest rigs. No highway noise. New shower house offers large, very clean, private rooms, each containing toilet, two sinks, and a roughly 5’x5’ shower stall. Several open grassy areas scattered throughout give it a park feel (although grass is so new it has not completely covered all the bare areas). No trees except for newly-planted, but once they have some size, it will be attractive. Three WIFI antennas and signal at our site was strong and fast. Utility hookups are conveniently located; for example, in each site there are two sewer connections 26 feet apart. Huge new swimming pool with slide, a smaller pool with four water cannons, and a hot tub. Now, about the old section. Original campground is on 16 acres with mostly gravel sites and lots of trees. In and out access may be tight for anything longer than 27 feet in some older sites. It seems typical of many older campgrounds. Our 10 rating is based on the new section. Would probably give the old section an 8 based solely on a walk-through.

Very friendly, helpful owners. Shaded gravel sites. Most are easy in and easy out for big rigs. Owners escort you to your site and direct you into position. Leveling required. Good cable TV. WI-FI is somewhat slow, but adequate. Good playground. We could not evaluate the pool in March. Close to I-75 and the degree of road noise depends on where your site is located--some sites are somewhat buffered from highway noise by an earthen berm. Bathrooms are older, but freshly painted and very clean. The trees and a catch and release fishing pond make the place feel rather like a state park. Assorted junk piled behind the office building is visible from campsites and detracts from an otherwise pleasant atmosphere. As of March 2009, diesel #2 (ultra-low sulfur for model year engines 2007 and later) is available only at the Pilot Truck Center in Cordele about nine miles north of Arabi at exit 101 on I-75. Other fuel stations in Arabi and Cordele do not have diesel #2; some have diesel #1. We spent six nights in this campground and would definitely stay there again.

Friendly, helpful staff who escorted us to the site. It is a clean campground with newly-remodeled clean, well-decorated, spacious bathrooms. There are two attractive patio areas with potted plants, fountains, and gazebos. Big rig friendly; easy in and easy out with wide driving lanes. There is adequate space for RV and tow vehicle or toad. There is adequate space between sites and sites are level. No cable TV, but our antenna works well. Good wi-fi. A huge fenced dog run. Hardly any trees, but that is not a problem for us. We noticed very little highway noise, but we were in the middle of the park. Some earlier reviews on this website comment on junk, odor, an unkempt lawn, and insufficient gravel in some sites. It is clear that the owners have made improvements. There is new gravel throughout the park. There is no odor. The lawn is mowed. There are some areas toward the distant back of the park that are junkie, but they are away from the sites used for short-term campers and are generally not very noticeable. A few long-term campers have minor junk in their sites and the park’s owners should get that under control. Trash barrels at edges of campsites are unsightly. However, none of these negative issues are so bad that they should keep any prospective camper from considering this park. We definitely would stay here again.

Friendly staff. Exceptionally clean, tidy campground. No storage is permitted around or under campers. Very big rig friendly with wide paved lanes and long, wide concrete pads (room for the rig and the toad or tow vehicle). Bathrooms are very clean. Good wifi. No trees. Close to highway and railroad track and in the flight path of the St. Louis airport, but our sleep was not interrupted. Strictly enforced park rules require use of dog walk outside of the park’s fence along a city street and it is not at all convenient, but it is not a reason to avoid this nice park. Water pressure is high and park advises to use water pressure regulators. I believe regulators can be purchased in the camp store. At the city street intersection (Third Street and Transit Street) leading from I-370 to the campground, the campground’s sign is easy to miss; it’s just the blue camper symbol that one sees on highways. It is the only signage the city will allow. This is an exceptional campground, but boring--it is a huge parking lot with nothing interesting to see outside your window but other RVS. We would stay here again, but it is pricey.

This is a clean, well-maintained, well-managed park and the owner is friendly and accommodating. Wifi was generally good, but sometimes slow and it disconnected unexpectedly a few times. Except for the deficiencies described below, we would rate this park 7. My pet peeve is difficulty entering and exiting pull-thrus. Shame on me for not paying better attention to prior reviews of this park. Some sites, particularly in Row C, are very difficult to enter and leave if your rig is longer than about 27-28 feet. Getting our 35-foot 5th wheel into a pull-thru in Row C with a long pickup (long bed, crew cab) was the most frustrating parking experience I’ve ever had, mostly because of parked toads and tow vehicles crowding the lanes in front of and behind our site. There was insufficient space to swing out, pull forward, or back up adequately to get positioned on the concrete pad without making several back and forth maneuvers. Throughout the park, the pads are so short that toads and tow vehicles must park perpendicular to the front of the RVs and the vehicles protrude into the driving lanes. There is adequate room to drive through the lanes, but not to maneuver easily into and out of some sites. Beause of a patio fence between sites, I had to close my slide out to have enough room to walk and to work as I connected and disconnected all the utilities (and I’m a small person). In some sites, the patio fence is placed where it is not a problem. We will not stay here again because of the vehicle maneuverability issues. If that doesn’t bother you, then this is a campground worth considering.

This is a lakeside fishing and boating camp with a lot of trees and a friendly, accommodating staff. The atmosphere is similar to a state park. It appears that about 95% of the sites are occupied by permanently-parked RVs which serve as weekend and summer cabins. Most sites require significant leveling. Parking our 35-foot 5th wheel in pull-thru site number 35 was not difficult, but to leave we had to back out rather than pull forward because of trees and a sharp corner. Parked tow vehicles crowd driving lanes and can make it difficult to maneuver. We were at this park Monday through Thursday in the second week of October, so human activity and vehicles crowding driving lanes were less than one would expect at busier times. It’s a pleasant place to walk and to enjoy viewing the lake. Trash pickup at your site. No highway or railroad noise. Wi-Fi works much of the time, but sometimes it will not connect and sometimes the connection will break unexpectedly. We liked this park and would definitely camp here again if we could get site 35.

This campground has a state park feel with many trees, but as far as we could tell, the trees did not interfere with big-rig entry into or departure from campsites. All pull-throughs, there is plenty of room for the RV and the tow vehicle or the toad. Space between sites is adequate. Staff is friendly and helpful and provides escort to sites. Strong, uninterrupted wi-fi signal. The bathrooms are clean. There is no highway or railroad noise. The pool and nice playground. There are porch swings located around the park and rocking chairs on the front porch of the club house. This park would rate 9 except that the area in the vicinity of the propane refill station is somewhat junkie. We would stay at this park again. (877) 848-7958

This park rates 10 in friendliness, cleanliness, vehicle maneuverability, and space in and between campsites. The rating is lowered because of a lack of amenities (no store, bathroom, playground, etc,) and an almost useless Wi-Fi. This is one of the best laid-out campgrounds we’ve seen. Easy access from highway and easy to enter and exit campsites. No obstacles such as trees and sign posts to maneuver around. It’s an open field with wide paved driving lanes, paved parking sites with plenty of space for toads or tow vehicles, and plenty of space between sites. Lamp posts at each site for light after dark. Front row has cable TV hookups. Some highway truck noise, but for us it was tolerable. We were parked close to the office and the Wi-Fi was almost always unusable. When available, the signal strength and speed varied widely and frequently and the connection frequently broke. We stayed 9 nights and would definitely come again. It’s a central location from which to visit historic and scenic sights, although some are about an hour’s drive away (Appomattox Court House National Historic Park [10-minute drive], Patrick Henry’s home, Thomas Jefferson’s second home [Poplar Forest], Natural Bridge, Peaks of Otter, etc.).

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have ever visited and there is much to like: exceptionally friendly, helpful, laid-back owner; one of the cleanest parks ever; exceptionally clean, decorated bathrooms; for big rigs, easy entry and exit to and from the park and campsites; plenty of space between sites; a new-looking, decorated outdoor pavilion with rocking chairs and picnic tables for socializing; nice landscaping; beautiful setting in a valley between mountains; a very nice river walk in an adjoining city park, reached by a trail from the campground; good wifi; and the list goes on and on. Some people might object to a train whistle, but we loved its old-time echo among the mountains and it did not interfere with sleep. There is minor highway noise. When we arrived in Big Stone Gap, we made a wrong turn and called the owner for directions to get ourselves straightened out. He told us to wait and came to lead us to the park--now that is outstanding customer service! The only negative is that the city apparently has no leash law, so you may encounter loose dogs while walking yours. During our 5-night stay, we did not encounter any dogs that were threatening.

Very friendly, accommodating owners. Tree-shaded sites. Sites are level and easy to get into; trees are not a problem. Plenty of space between sites. Clean campground. Well away from highway noise. Bathrooms and showers are among the cleanest we've seen anywhere. A very good deal for the price. We highly recommend this RV park.

Clean park and friendly staff. Attractive rural location with lots of trees. Trash pickup at your site. We liked this park and stayed several nights. The park has a lower section around the entrance and an upper section at the back which is located on top of a substantial hill, probably a quarter-mile from the lower section. My comments pertain only to the lower section. We recommend this park, even though the following comments describe shortcomings (but they‘re not show stoppers). The trees, narrow lanes, sharp corners, and some toads and tow vehicles protruding into lanes made maneuvering our 35-foot 5th wheel difficult, both parking and leaving. We observed other campers having the same problem. The park’s cable TV hookup is near the RV‘s front while our RV‘s connection is near the rear--you will need at least 48 feet of cable. Bath house with showers and toilets is located approximately a city block from most campsites. If you don’t plan to hook up to the sewer (which we don’t for one-night stays), it’s a long walk if nature’s call is urgent. After having said all this, we would definitely stay here again. Would have rated this park a 9 except for the difficulty maneuvering our vehicle.

Friendly staff in a clean campground and clean newly-remodeled bathrooms. Train noise described in previous reviews did not bother us, even at night. Excellent wi-fi signal strength and speed. There is trash pickup at your site. There is plenty of space between sites and plenty of room for tow vehicles or toads. Narrow lanes require wide turns but even though lanes are narrow, access into and out of campsites are easy. About 15 minutes from Colonial Williamsburg, and 30 minutes from Jamestown or Yorktown historic sites. We definitely would stay here again. The only shortcomings we noticed were dusty gravel lanes which do not accommodate leaving RV windows open and, in a rear section of the park, there is a junkie storage area with maintenance materials, vehicles, junk, etc. A fence to conceal that eyesore would be welcome.

Would rate a 9, but difficult to maneuver our 35-foot fifth wheel along narrow lanes with some sharp corners and pull into and out of site between trees, sign posts, and immovable trash barrels. Clean park with friendly staff. Showers and toilets clean, but not many people in the park because we were there as Tropical Storm Hanna was passing through (only rain occurred at the park). The park has many sites, a lot of things for kids to do, and planned family activies on weekends, so I suspect toilets and showers may suffer during peak occupancy. Electrical and water hookups are at front of RV and sewer connection at center (I'm not sure this applies to all sections of the park). Trees make park atractive and there's plenty of space between sites. Once we were parked, we liked being there, so we would recommend it.

Friendly, accommodating owners. A clean RV park. Toilets and showers are clean, but could stand a little remodeling (chipped counter tops, etc.). Showers had a hook outside the curtain and a small bench, but outside the curtain, you are in the open area so privacy is difficult. Our site was away from the interstate, but highway noise is a problem for sites close to road. Except for shower privacy and highway noise, we would rate this park a 10. Easy access to sites and plenty of room between sites. Several long-term residents, but their sites are clean, tidy, and well-kept. We recommend this RV park.

Clean, well-managed campground with friendly, helpful staff. Semi-rural location. Wide streets and easy access to sites. Plenty of room between sites. Some sites have room to park vehicle beside camper, the others have room for vehicle in front of camper. Located west of Branson, so you avoid most of the heavy traffic on Highway 76 when driving to Silver Dollar City theme park (you will be on Hwy 76 for only about one mile). We definitely would stay here again.

Stayed one night, but would definitely stay again. Pleasant wooded location with view of small lake. Bathrooms were clean and freshly painted. Easy to drive through. Our site was not level, so had to use leveling blocks. Staff was acceptable, but could be a little more friendly. Two men rattled off introductory information and campground rules like robots.

Friendly staff and clean park except for some long-term campers whose sites look junky. Low rating is for very narrow streets and difficult parking, even with pull-thru. Most difficult parking I have ever experienced because of narrow streets, parked trucks and cars crowding into streets, sites too close together, trees where you need turning space, and large overhead tree limbs that are too low. You have to maneuver through all of these at the same time when parking. A motor home had to move slowly to make sure he cleared his mirrors between my RV and the one across the street. If highway noise bothers you, request a site more distant from I-10. Nice feature: trash is picked up at your site every morning.

This campground is OK for an overnight stay. Had heavy rain while we were there. There was soupy mud at the utility hookups (along the full length of my RV) and my shoes and pant legs were covered with mud as we prepared to leave. Messiest campsite I've ever experienced after a rain. Parts of the park have junk piled around. Staff is friendly.

Owner is friendly and accommodating. This is a combination mobile home park and RV park. Many sites are occupied by full-time residents working in the area. Campsites are easy to reach and enter. Sites are gravel/grass and leveling blocks may be required under wheels. Bathrooms have not aged well. Toilet stool, sink, and shower are clean, but new paint and new shower curtains would make a substantial improvement. Dirt around wall trim and floor molding needs to be removed. We would stay again, but only for overnight while en route. Fine for the price, especially if you don't plan to use the bathrooms.

Stayed here 12 nights, so rate was discounted. Work-camper staff was among the most friendly and helpful we have encountered anywhere. Gated security. Very clean campground (although one new section is under construction which creates a little understandable, acceptable mess). Campsites are further apart than most and wide enough to park tow vehicle beside RV. Free shuttle to French Quarter in morning and evening, about a 15-minute drive. Would very definitely stay here again.
